7am to 6pm, Monday to Friday, 52 weeks of the year
Our high quality Nursery provides a fun, safe and homely 'learning-through-play' environment in which our 'ducklings' and 'butterflies' flourish, with a nurturing and experienced early years team. 100% of our practitioners are Level 3 qualified, and we are proud to say that almost half of our team have childcare qualifications at Levels 4, 5 and 6.
There is much to explore right on our doorstep... we are always venturing out to enjoy the market town and beautiful surrounding countryside, and we creatively expand on our numeracy and literacy, and link to multiple learning opportunities as we go. We visit many places and interact with the people who help us in our community.
The Nursery has a dedicated 'discovery room' for encouraging messy scientific exploration and 'growing things'!; there is a sensory room; a beautiful dedicated baby room, and our toddlers and pre-school children learn through role-play within carefully designed 'home-from-home' imagination and nurture space. Problem solving, independence and critical thinking are encouraged across all elements of our play, from social development to discovering the world around us; and we have experts delivering our weekly sports, yoga and dance coaching workshops.
Our experienced, passionate and happy early years team is caring and professional; they work alongside parents in the nurturing and educating of each and every child as they grow in confidence and rise towards transition to primary school. Speech and language coaching, and parent information workshops feature in our programme, working together in building confidence and supporting children's development.
We care very much that parents access the hours of care that they require, that we reflect the routines, interests and needs of each child, and that the whole family is able to be involved in the children's nursery experience. Learning progress and achievements are communicated each week via our online Tapestry learning journey portal, and there are many events for parents and families to participate in throughout the year, such as fundraising walks, stay and play, nativity, celebrations and sports days.
We are open Monday to Friday from 7am to 6pm, all year round (except bank holidays), and are offer the Government Early Years entitlement, and '30 hours' childcare scheme.
